I'm experiencing an issue with the following code and a certain .doc file. The .doc file loads perfectly well in MS Word but in code sample below, it never returns from the call to document.PageCount. This looks to be similar to a previous issue I reported that was fixed in 6.4.4 (which I am using): issue-doc-with-embedded-pdf-t10077.html

Code: Select all
        static void Main(string[] args)
        {
            string strSource = @".\3160708B-XMLMES~1.DOC";
            Document document = null;

            try
            {
                document = new Document(strSource);

                int iPages = document.PageCount;      // We never return from this call
            }
            catch (Exception e)
            {
                Console.WriteLine(e);
                throw;
            }

            document?.Dispose();
        }

I will send the document through to the support email.
