I have uploaded the new Qt plugin to our server. You can download it through the following link, and then replace the original plugin in your net6.0 project and test it again. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused to you during this period.

Hi,

We have uploaded a total of two demos on the server, where the link(https://www.e-iceblue.com/downloads/demo/ConsoleApp14.zip) correspond to the donet6.0 project, and other link(https://www.e-iceblue.com/downloads/demo/ConsoleApp15.zip) correspond to the donet5.0 project.

Hi,

Please follow the steps below to do check:
1)Firstly, you need to locate the Html2Pdf and libexec/QtWebEngineProcess files in the plugin linux-64 folder to check if they have executable permission for the current user.
2)Secondly, please enter the plugins directory and execute the ldd Html2Pdf command to check for any missing dependencies. If they are missing, please install the corresponding dependencies.
If you have done the above steps, you can enter plugin folder and execute the following command to check if the QT plugin can be use properly, if there are result pdf file in the folder (/usr/local/), that mean the QT plugin have no problem.
Echo “<P>test text</p>” |./Html2Pdf “placeholder” “/usr/local/output.pdf” 800 600 0 0 0 0 1

Hi Team,

I have created the sample app in my local env as you shared earlier but when i try to implement the same sample app in our dev env is not working as expected means the html to pdf conversion is not working. I have tried to debug the same in different methods as below mentioned
a) checked whether xvfb is running or not.
b) Compared the both dll files after publishing the code.
c) checked the paths whether i have given any wrong paths.
d) used same plugins which are working in local env
e) Downloaded every related or dependencies packages and libraries.
f) Given full permissions to read, write & execute to entire project and it files.

Env :- ubuntu_20.04
dotnet version : 5&6

Please help me, to resolve the issue, whether Iam missing anything's

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.
Due to the use of the QT plugin to convert HTML into PDF, the system environment has a significant impact on the smooth execution of the function. Therefore, I suggest that you implement this function in Docker. I have created a demo to run on Docker, which you can download from the link below. You can follow the steps in the Readme.txt file to test this demo.

OS ubuntu :-20.04
Dotnet version : -5.0
Plugins which I was currently using :- https://www.e-iceblue.com/downloads/plu ... x64.tar.gz

sample code : -

IntPtr ptrLib = dlopen("/var/www/plugins/libHTMLConverter.so", 2 | 8);
if (IntPtr.Zero == ptrLib)
{
throw new Exception(string.Format("err:{0}", dlerror()));
}
HtmlConverter.PluginPath = @"/var/www/plugins/";
HtmlConverter.Convert(selectfilepath, pdffilepath, true, 100 * 1000, new SizeF(1000, 792), new PdfMargins(10, 10));

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
The images in your Html file are actually progress bars, and we do not support parsing this style, so these styles are missing in the generated PDF. You can use Chrome browser to print your file to a Pdf file, and the resulting file will also lose this part of the style, as shown in the screenshot below. Hope you can understand this.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.
Sorry, I didn't quite understand what you meant. Does the plugin not work in Linux? Please reply and share more details about your question.
