Hello,

Thanks for your feedback and sorry for the late reply as weekend.

When opening your PDF file in Adobe, and then exporting it to a TXT file, you will find that some characters will be missing and some garbled characters in the result file.
Besides, if you open your PDF file in Adobe and copy the content directly, and then paste it to a TXT file, you will get garbled characters.
All these indicate that this issue is due to an error in the content of your file. It is not a bug with our product. Hope you can understand.

Sincerely,
Brian

It seems that spire is not supporting some fonts.

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback.
I used several versions of Adobe Acrobat to export the text in "errorgettext.pdf", but all got the same result (some characters were missing, and some garbled characters). Attached is my exported result. Which version of Adobe Acrobat do you use and how did you extract the text? Some screenshots might help a lot. Thanks in advance.
Besides, if you are testing other files, please provide us with the corresponding files.

Sincerely,
Brian

hello,

Thanks for providing more details.
I installed an Adobe Acrobat v2015 and extracted the text in the PDF file you provided, I did get the correct result.

But since this can only get the correct result with a specific version of Adobe Acrobat (We use Adobe Acrobat v2019/v2020, neither of them can be extracted correctly), we need to further investigate whether the extraction failed due to the document itself.

Anyway, I have posted this issue to our Dev team. We will inform you as soon as there is any update.

Sincerely,
Brian
