Hi team,

I have a problem converting a Word file to PDF using the Liberation Sans font. The text of the resulting PDF overlaps when the font used for the replacement is the Liberation Sans. You can see the input file and resulting PDF attached.

I'm using the Spire.Doc (version 11.8.1) for Java (version 11.0.8).
My environment is a centos virtual machine from AWS, whith only the Liberation Sans font installed (we need to use that font for the resulting PDF).

This is my code:
Code: Select all
var doc = new Document(false);
doc.loadFromFile(source_path);
var ppl = new ToPdfParameterList();
ppl.isEmbeddedAllFonts(true);
ppl.setDisableLink(true);
doc.setJPEGQuality(80);
doc.saveToFile(target_path, ppl);

Hi,

Thanks for your patience.
Upon further investigation, we have determined that you are using our older engine, which is no longer maintained by our team. To address the problem you experienced, we recommend switching to our new engine. When creating a Document object, please refrain from passing the "false" parameter. The issue no longer exists after switching to the new engine.

Please modify your code and have a test. If the issue still exists, please report it to us, we are here to assist you.

Best regards,
Triste
