StackOverflowException when converting docx to PDF

Hello,

I'm getting a StackOverflowException when converting a docx file (that was generated by Spire) to PDF, when using Spire.Doc version 5.1.6.4035.

I've created a minimalistic example that reproduces the error:

fails in pdf.zip

Basically it is a tiny bit of text that is forced into a narrow cell of a table.

After a while, the exception occurs during the document.SaveToFile call:

An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowException' occurred in Spire.Doc.dll

Code: Select all

using Spire.Doc;
using System.Diagnostics;

Document document = new Document(@"C:\Users\user\Desktop\fails in pdf.docx");
document.SaveToFile(@"..\..\pdffail.pdf", FileFormat.PDF);
document.Close();
Process.Start(@"..\..\pdffail.pdf");


What can I do to avoid this exception?

Please use the latest version(Spire.Doc Pack(hot fix) Version:5.5.112)and which works for your document.

Hello,

I've updated to the latest version and this has resolved some issues. However, the StackOverflowException still occurs with this document:

fails in pdf2.zip

If only it was another kind of exception, that could be caught. This one will bring down our server...
