Hello, i've just downloaded spire office platinum 10.5 and applied the new license, in my web site project.

I get this issue:
Warning 27 'Public ReadOnly Property TableFormat As Spire.Doc.Formatting.RowFormat' is obsolete: 'This property is deprecated. Please call the "Table.Format" property.'. E:\Gumirato\MacroCedoleVtv\Esercizio.Vtv.MacroCedole\classi\runtime\ScritturaPagina.vb 953 17 Esercizio.Vtv.MacroCedole
on this line:
tblAgenti.TableFormat.Borders.Horizontal.BorderType = Spire.Doc.Documents.BorderStyle.None

the issue appears also on rowformat lines, like this ones:
tblCorseS.Rows(0).RowFormat.Paddings.All = 0
tblCorseS.Rows(0).RowFormat.CellSpacing = 0
but not on this one:
tblCorseS.Rows(0).RowFormat.Borders.Space = BorderStyle.None

and this issue:
Error 30 Property 'SamePaddingsAsTable' is 'ReadOnly'. E:\Gumirato\MacroCedoleVtv\Esercizio.Vtv.MacroCedole\classi\runtime\ScritturaPagina.vb 978 21 Esercizio.Vtv.MacroCedole
on this line:
tblAgenti.Rows(0).Cells(c).CellFormat.SamePaddingsAsTable = False

can you please help me?
thank you in advance,
Paola

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
In recent Spire.Doc versions, we've optimized some properties, such as the Paddings and CellSpacing under row format should now be set at the table level. Please refer to the following optimized code samples:
Code: Select all
table.Format.Borders.Horizontal.BorderType = BorderStyle.None;
table.Format.Paddings.All = 0;
table.Format.CellSpacing = 0;

Regarding the SamePaddingsAsTable property, I noticed it is read-only and currently there is no alternative attribute. We'll confirm with our development team and give you feedback as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincerely,
Tommy

Hello,

I have discussed with the dev team regarding the change that the SamePaddingsAsTable property is now read-only. According to the Microsoft Word table document specification, if a cell does not have its own margin settings, it will by default inherit the margin settings from the table it belongs to. In other words, this property did not play an independent role in the actual layout behavior.
To improve system consistency and stability, and to avoid potential layout issues caused by individual cell settings, we have optimized this property in the new version and changed it to read-only — manual setting is no longer supported.
You can instead control the margins of all cells that do not have custom settings by configuring the default cell margins at the table level.
table.Format.Paddings.All = 0;
If you have any questions, please feel free to write back.

Sincerely,
Tommy
