When converting a Word file to PDF using Spire.Doc version 13.3 (.NET Framework 4.0.30319), the Smart Art inserted in the Word file disappears in the PDF. Is it possible to render Smart Art in the PDF as well?

Thank you for your message.

I have attached the Word file.
Additionally, I have attached an Excel file that also contains SmartArt that disappears in the PDF.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,

Thansk for your files.
Yes, I have reproduced the issues you mentioned and logged both issues in our tracking system with ticket numbers SPIREXLS-5728 (Excel file conversion issue) and SPIREDOC-11140 (Word file conversion issue). Our development team will further investigate and fix it, and I will inform you once there is any progress. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,
William

Hello,

Thansk for your patience.
Regarding the issue SPIREXLS-5728, after further investigation, we have found that the SmartArt in the document is newly created and has not been filled with any content. In this case, even if converting directly using Microsoft Excel, the content in SmartArt will not be retained. Spire.Xls followed Microsoft's conversion rules during the conversion process, so it cannot retain empty SmartArt elements. You can further verify this issue in Microsoft Excel. If you have any questions, please feel free to write back.

Sincerely,
William
