Hello Marcus,

Thanks for your follow-up!

I have asked our development team about its progress. Since our Spire.PDF uses the PS mode when converting PDF to Word by default, and this mode currently cannot recognize the text in the vertical direction. Our Dev team is still working on your issues, sorry to tell that there is no significant progress so far. Anyway, I urged and requested them to share any possible ETA at their earliest, once there is any good news, we will notify you immediately. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

As a temporary method, you can use the following code to avoid the PS mode. And we will continue to solve the problems in the PS mode.
Code: Select all
            PdfDocument pdf = new PdfDocument();
            pdf.LoadFromFile(@"E:\testdoc\tmp840F.pdf");
            pdf.ConvertOptions.SetPdfToDocOptions(false);
            pdf.SaveToFile("tmp840F.docx", FileFormat.DOCX);

Sincerely,
Marcia
