Hi Team, for the PDF comparator endpoint in /Tutorials/Java/Spire.PDF-for-Java/Program-Guide/Document-Operation/Java-Compare-PDF-Documents - is it possible to disable generating a comparison pdf if there are no changes identified between the input pdfs? or a feature to get diff.size() or boolean to check if files are identical?

Hi,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, our Spire.PDF doesn't currently provide a feature like diff.size() or a direct method to check if files are identical without generating a comparison document.

However, we are actively developing Spire.PDF AI, which will allow you to achieve exactly what you need using simple natural language prompts. For example, you will be able to instruct the API: "Compare these two PDFs and return true if they are identical, without generating a result file."

We don't have a fixed release date just yet, but it is coming soon! Once the new version is released, we will inform you immediately.

Sincerely,
Nina

Hi,

I'm not entirely sure about the specific licensing details at the moment. I will keep you updated once it's officially launched. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi,

Thanks for your patient waiting.
We’ve just launched Spire.Agent.Office, a new product that leverages AI to meet your needs. I’ve already tested it with a prompt like: 'Compare the contents of the two attached PDF documents. If the content is exactly the same, simply return true; if there are any differences, return false.' . It works perfectly for your use case. Please refer to this documentation for integration. If you run into any issues, feel free to let us know.
