Using Spire's pdfviewer control, how to programmatically achieve the following:
(1) disable or hide "open pdf file" button?
(2) change or localize the tooltip text?

Thanks for your inquiry.
Here are the answers to your questions.
(1) PdfViewer control can't control showing or hiding "open pdf file" button, its functional design cannot be changed now. But you can use PdfDocumentViewer control and use a button to achieve it. Like the screenshot below.

(2)Sorry, the tooltip text is available only in English at present.

Thanks for the reply.

It seems that the PdfViewer has more functionalities than PdfDocumentViewer
(For example, print, zoom, find-text,...etc).

Hope that , in the future version update,
you can consider adding the 2 mentioned customizations for develoopers.
