Hello,

I've run into an issue where using the Spire.Office library v8.2.2, if I create a new PdfDocument and save it as an image using the SaveAsImage method, the resulting image loses the pdf documents original formatting (mainly spaces between words have been removed).

I've attached a sample project which should show the issue.

Please let me know if you can reproduce this or if you are aware of any workarounds.

Otherwise please keep me updated with a timeline on a potential fix.

Thank you,
Zac

Hi Lisa,

Just following up again on this issue. You mentioned that the tests would be completed in a few days and it has now been over a week. Not to mention the initial issue was raised two months ago.

This issue is blocking us from moving a feature into our Production version of the software so an immediate fix is required. When can I expect the hotfix to be available?

Thanks,
Zac

Hello,

Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience caused.
The issue SPIREPDF-5897 has passed the tests. Since each our hotfix version will also include some other bug fixes or new features, its' official version may take about one more week to be released. As for your situation, we will compile a temporary version for you to test first. I will provide it for you in next Monday. Thanks for your understanding.

Sincerely,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,

As per your last correspondence, it was mentioned that a temporary hotfix version would be supplied to us for testing at the beginning of this week.

I have not yet received a message supplying this version. Please supply this version to me at your earliest possible convenience so we can begin testing in preparation for the official version update.

Thank you,
Zac

Hello,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
Yesterday, we released Spire.Doc Pack(hot fix) Version:11.5.6, which includes some significant adjustments. Unfortunately, these adjustments have caused some issues when compiling the office temporary package for you. Our development team is currently working on resolving these issues, and we aim to provide the temporary version for you tomorrow.

Hello,

Sorry I am still unable to provide you with a office temporary package today. Our Test team recompiled it twice, but the error still occurs. They are fixing it urgently. Here I provided you with a PDF temporary package, you can test it firstly. Once its' corresponding office temporary package is available, I will provide it for you as soon as possible. I am really sorry for the delay and the inconvenience caused to you.

Sincerely,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Any update on the Spire Office temporary package? I will test the temporary PDF one today, but having the office package would be hugely beneficial.

Thank you,
Zac
