Hello,

I have a problem with document conversion to pdf - when the document is converted to PDF, content of the pages of the original seems to be stretched a little and last line from page 2 ends up on page 3 as a first line. For our case, this is, sadly, not acceptable. Is there something I can set to avoid such a behavior?

Both files (source and result) are attached.

Thanks a lot

Jan

Hello, thank You for your response, but the problem is still there. The formatting of the result is still off, only on different place. Adding current conversion result to attachment.

Thanks,

Jan.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your feedback.
I am unable to reproduce this issue using the new version, please check my generated PDF. By reviewing the PDF file you provided, it was found that you have filled the content controls in your docx. Your issue may be related to your data filling.
For further analysis, please save the docx file after filling data and send it to me for confirmation. Thanks in advance.

Thank You for the file! Could you, please, provide me with code, that you use? Because I still get different result.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.
I tested with the simplest conversion code as below. I suspect the problem might be related to the operations performed during your generation of the Word document. To better troubleshoot, could you please send me the generated Word after you've filled out the Word template and saved it? I'll use this file directly to verify the conversion functionality, which will help me accurately identify the cause.
Code: Select all
Document doc = new Document();
doc.LoadFromFile(@"radek_posun.docx");
doc.SaveToFile("result.pdf", FileFormat.PDF);

Sincerely,
Nina

It seems to me that the fix is only in .NET version. Can you please confirm, that the fix is also in Java version?

Hi,

The latest version of Spire.Doc for Java does not include this fix, and I have handed it over to the dev team for synchronization. I will notify you promptly once the Java version that includes this fix is released.
