Hi Team,

We are using spirePDF to convert the PDF v1.4+ to v1.3(pdf/x-1a:2001) but we are not able to do so. The pdf is converted to v1.3 but its not X-1A Compliant.

Can someone please assist us to make the PDF X-1A compliant. Also how to can we embed fonts into pdf v1.3(X-1A compliant).

Thanks

Hi

Thanks for your inquiry.
Please download this version (spire.office_5.8.1) and refer to the following code to convert PDF to PdfX1A2001 standard. If there is any question, please provide your input document and verification tool for further investigation.
As for embedding fonts in PdfX1A, sorry that our Spire.Pdf does not support the feature at present because of its complexity. Once this new feature is available in the future, I will inform you. Apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Code: Select all

            PdfDocument doc = new PdfDocument();
            doc.LoadFromFile(test.pdf");
            doc.FileInfo.Version = PdfVersion.Version1_3;
            PdfX1A2001 obj = new PdfX1A2001(doc);
            obj.Generate("result.pdf");

Thanks Lynn,however after conversion we are getting below issues while verifying PDF/X compliance check.
PDF document is not complaint with PDF/X-1a(2001)
> Object uses RGB
> Transparency used(soft mask in image)
> Font not embedded

Can you please suggest how we can fix these issues while converting PDF to PDF/X-1a(2001)?

Thanks,
