Good day

Glad to say that the conversion has improved.
a lot.

Sadly, I still find that 3 items are not 100% correct, though only mirrored or slightly shifted.
See the attached .zip containing the .xps, the generated .pdf and a comparison .png.

Thanks for all the effort so far.

All the best,

Stefan

Hello Stefean,

Thanks for your feedback.
It's sure that there are still some items that are not 100% correct. We will continue fixing the rest. But the effect you converted isn't the same as mine. I attached my converted PDF.
My OS environment is Windows7 64bit, DPI:100%. What about yours?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Sincerely,
Amy

HI there Amy,

You're welcome.
I appreciate the effort you put into so far.

As you can see from the attached file, I'm using a Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (x64) machine.

all the best,

Hello Stefan,

Thanks for your recognition for our service.
I did a test on a Windows10 x64 machine. But the converted pdf file is same as that generated by me on Windows7 x64 machine and still is inconsistent with your pdf converted file.
I have logged the issues I found in our issue tracking system with the ticket SPIREPDF-4834. I will keep you informed of any updates.

Sincerely,
Amy

Hi there

Finally got around to test on a Win7 machine.
For testing purposes, I've create a small Desktop app (solution attached) that allows the conversion XPS => PDF.
I used the nuget version 8.1.4 for the test.

The result sadly still remains the same as on my Win10 machine.

I hope this helps of sorts.

XPS and resulting PDF are also attached.

All the best,

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your feedback.
I found the output PDF (FillPatterns-8.1.4.pdf) you attached is the same as what we generated, while it is not exactly the same as the previous PDF (FillPatterns-7.12.1.pdf). Here I attached the comparisons for your reference. Our Dev team will fix the difference on FillPatterns-8.1.4.pdf, once there is any update, I will inform you.

Sincerely,
Nina

Hi there

Are there any news available concerning this ticket?
Because we found another issue.

Attached you find the XPS and resulting PDF that have a similar issue.
Tested against Version 10.1.17.

Thanks in advance.

Hello S.Gerber,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Our dev team has been unable to find a breakthrough for the previous issue, so it has been put on hold. I have escalated this problem to higher authorities, and if I get any update,I will promptly feedback to you. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Additionally, regarding the new issue you raised, I opened your XPS with the XPS Viewer but found it is too blurry, hence I first printed the XPS to PDF file, then compared the printout with the PDF generated by our product and found differences in line orientations. Is this the error you are referring to? I have logged it into our bug tracking system with the issue ID: SPIREPDF-6536. Our dev team will investigate it and I will keep you informed once there is any meaningful progress.

Sincerely,
Nina
