We have built a private ASP.NET website that runs in a corporate environment on a private VPN.

The website runs on a cluster of 2 windows servers running Windows 2012 R2 and receives requests via a load balancer. The servers are located in one geographic location, and the website is not publicly accessible.

The license file is loaded in global.asax as follows:

Code: Select all
public class Global : System.Web.HttpApplication
{
    protected void Application_Start(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        ...
        FileInfo licenseFile = new FileInfo( HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath( "~/License/Spire.License.xml" ) );
        Spire.Doc.License.LicenseProvider.SetLicenseFileName( licenseFile.FullName );
    }

The website provides functionality to convert Word documents to PDF's and concatenate them prior to printing.
Most of the time this works fine, but occasionally a warning message is printed on the document:

"Evaluation Warning: This document was created with Spire.Doc for .NET."

How do we get rid of this warning?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry.
Please note that your purchased license type is Developer Small Business, which allows usage by 1 developer and 1 deployment locations, each identified by a unique MAC address/machine ID. 1 Developer Small Business license covers up to 4 MAC addresses (1 for development, 1 for deployment, and 2 for testing or backup purposes). When the license is used on machines beyond this limit, it will not be effective and the output file will have the warning messages. We have checked that your license usage has exceeded this limit. To remove the warnings on these machines, you need to upgrade to Developer OEM. If needed, please feel free to contact our sales team: [email protected] directly for assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Talia
