HTML to PDF with Digital Signature

We have several existing HTML documents with a signature field that gets filled in once the user signs the document. I would like to convert the filled in HTML document to PDF and replace the signature field with a digital signature. I am able to convert HTML to PDF and modify that PDF to add a digital signature, but I'm unclear on how to position that digital signature to replace the existing signature field in the html document. Is this possible?
