Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Using Spire to verify graphic signatures, please refer to this tutorial: Get and Verify Digital Signature in PDF in C#. If you have any questions, please feel free to write to us at any time.

I understand that the code you provided validates graphical signatures, but only if the signer used a certificate. My goal is to enable signers to sign by clicking on the signature field in the front end of my portal, and then either typing or drawing their signature. Currently, I am using the Pspdf library to facilitate this process, but I'm struggling to validate in the backend using the Spire library if the signer just drew or typed their name in the signature field.

I have two questions for you:
1. Is there a text value or string value property in the signature field so that I would be able to check if it is null or empty?
2. Is there a way to check if the drawing annotation is overlapping the signature field annotation?

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Yes, currently we can only verify signatures with certificates. Sorry, we still don't quite understand the details of your needs. Can you provide us with some pdf documents and some screenshots that describe your problem? You can attach them here or send them to us via emial ([email protected]). We will investigate further based on this, thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
William

When using the front end of my application, the user can sign a document by clicking on the signature field and simply drawing their signature. There is no need for a certificate in this process. However, I am wondering if there is a way to detect whether or not the user has drawn a signature in the signature field.
