We have recently upgraded to spire.pdf version 7.4 ( license purchased)
Below issue was there even before upgrade and we were expecting some improvements there

Observed performance issues while extracting image from PDF
- High CPU utilization
- TIme taken to extract the images
its considerable even for a pdf file having 30 pages
Below is how we are using it.
Please suggest alternatives to overcome these issues .
We need to pass 300, 300 resolution as we use images for OCR further.

using (var image = this.pdfDocument.SaveAsImage(i, Spire.Pdf.Graphics.PdfImageType.Bitmap, 300, 300))
{
imageInfo.Image = ImageToByteArray(image);
}

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.

I simulated a 30-page PDF file and converted it to images with the latest Spire.PDF v7.5.0, it took about 20 seconds. And the maximum CPU utilization was about 25%, not very high. What are the test results of your side?

Actually the performance of converting PDF to image is related to the structure and content of the PDF file. To help us analyze accurately and make improvements to the conversion performance, please provide us with some sample PDF files. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Sincerely,
Brian
