Hi,

Running spire.doc v4.9.13.3040

Having an issue with font spacing (kernel spacing) when converting a word document to PDF using the Interface DaMa true type font.

See attached example of document and PDF output. Noticeably the spacing between characters as in the word Dear are not correctly spaced....

Also have included the font for testing. Is this a known issue? A search in this forum didnt bring up much on font spacing.

Did try to use the latest version (downloaded the hotfix dll) but couldnt seem to convert to PDF any longer (savetofile only gave list of word file formats)....

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
I have tested your issue with the latest Spire.Doc version( Spire.Doc Pack(hot fix) Version:5.5.28 ). It worked well. Please try it. And please check if the dlls' version you used are correct. Here are the version information.
Spire.Doc 5.5.28.3040
Spire.License 1.3.5.40

And Here is the sample code I use.

doc.LoadFromFile(@"..\..\test.docx");

A server reboot fixed the spacing issue. The windows documentation on font installation is not very detailed. Many articles refer to windows server 2003. This issue was occuring on a windows server 2008 r2.
