hello,

I am trying to extractImage from a PDF using Spire.PDF and c# but "ExtractImages()" is returning null as a result.
I got my code from the Guid (see below)... so I am afraid something with my PDF (see attachment) is wrong.. maybe the whole site is recognized as one Image and thus it is not working?

Code: Select all

for (int i = 0; i < doc.Pages.Count; i++)
{
      // Get an object of Spire.Pdf.PdfPageBase
      PdfPageBase page = doc.Pages[i];

      // Extract images from Spire.Pdf.PdfPageBase
      Image[] images = page.ExtractImages();
      if (images != null && images.Length > 0)

Thank you and regards
Luis

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
There is no image in your pdf file. The paintings were painted through the pen.
So the "ExtractImages()" returned null as a result.

Thanks for your fast answer. Another question just came up:

"Spire.PDF Free version is limited to 10 pages of PDF. This limitation is enforced during loading and creating files.When converting PDF to Image, the first 3 pages of PDF files will be converted to Image format successfully."

I am confused.. first it says 10 Pages are for free... then only 3 pages will be converted?!
(My PDF got 9 pages)

//edit: and is there maybe a student version for spire.PDF?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.
There is no contradiction. The 10 pages limitation is happened when loading and creating pdf files.
Only 3 pages will be converted is happened when converting PDF to Image.
There is no student version for spire.PDF.
I recommend you use the commercial version(The latest version is Spire.PDF Pack Version:3.5 ) which has no any limitations. The component will work normally except for an evaluation warning message.
