Hi,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Did you mean that you get the evaluation message when using our Free Spire.PDF for .NET? If yes, I can infer that you are using our commercial Spire.PDF rather than the Free version, the evaluation message appears when using our commercial version without applying a valid license. For your case, please download the correct free version (Free Spire.PDF for .NET Version:5.4) which has no evaluation warning to have a try. If there is any misunderstanding, please provide detailed information to help us understand your issue accurately.

Sincerely,
Nina

Hi RAJITHA,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Kindly note that our Free Spire.PDF has some limitations. It is limited to 10 pages of PDF during loading and creating files. And when converting PDF to Image, only the first 3 pages of PDF files will be converted to Image format successfully. Are you using the Free version to convert PDF to images? If so, I recommend you use our commercial version (the latest version is Spire.PDF Pack(Hot Fix) Version:6.4.11) since it has no limitations.
Or if I misunderstood, please provide more information to help us understand your issue accurately, such as your testing code and your input file.

Sincerely,
Rachel

Hi,

I have downloaded Free Spire.PDF for .NET Version:6.2 from nuget.

When i am extracting text from pdf which has less than 10 pages, I am seeing "Evaluation Warning : The document was created with Spire.PDF" in the extracted text.

Is there any limitation in extracting text using free version ?

I use spire.doc to fill a .doc document and generate a pdf, till here ok, then i use spire.pdf to replace an image in this pdf. It's a 1 page document.

Why am I getting the Evaluation Warning?

Hi Rogerio,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Are you using our Free Spire.Doc for .NET? If so, the evaluation warning message will appear in the output file when using the function of Spire.PDF. This is because the Free Spire.Doc package contains the commercial version dll of Spire.PDF.
For your situation, please download our Free Spire.Office (the latest version is Free Spire.Office for .NET Version:4.3) and reference the corresponding dlls (Spire.Doc.dll, Spire.License.dll, Spire.Pdf.dll) from the same folder.
Or if I misunderstood, please tell us more details about your issue for further investigation.

Sincerely,
Rachel

Hello

As already mentioned, we receive The Evaluation Warning when trying to extract text using page.ExtractText(new Rectangle(etc, ect)), the error is known to you, but can you let us know if a fix will be available fairly soon, or if it will be a few weeks/months away.

We only need to extract a couple of items from already created single page PDF files which is then used to either email or print the file, unfortunately your commercial version is way out of our budget for the small requirements we need.

Kind Regards
Neil
