Hello,

I am merging a bunch of pdf documents into one single pdf. On a few of the pages the esignature is not coming over into the new merged pdf. I attached a screenshot. As you can see the esignature did not come over. However, it did come over from another document and appeared correctly on the merged pdf. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might cause this?

I am currently using a pro license with reference to Spire.pdf version 6.9.16.0.

And for the actual merge I am using PdfDocumentBase doc = PdfDocument.MergeFiles(pdfFiles) where pdfIles is just a string array of pdf files.

Thanks!

Joe

Hi Rachel,

These documents are from a vendor and contain pii related to the applicant (including the e-signature) so I can't pass them along. Is there something I should be looking at more closely as to why it's not copying over...ex. what are the common reasons that would cause the library to not be able to copy the e-signature over?

Thanks

Joe

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your response.
Since the structure of each document is different, the cause for missing content is different. We need your documents for further analysis, sorry that we cannot to tell you what might be causing your issue based on currently available information.
You could send your files directly to me ([email protected]). Don’t worry, we promise to keep your documents confidential and we will not use it for any other purpose. Also, you could remove the security data of your PDF as long as the modified files could reproduce your issue.

Besides, there is another method to merge files, you can also give it a try.

Sincerely,
Rachel
