error print pdf in virtual printer

When I want to print a pdf I get the error:

Invalid / Unknown / Unsupported format

The document does not have a password and is not protected either, what can the solution be?

            pdf.LoadFromFile(pdflocal);
           
            pdf.PrintSettings.PrinterName = "Microsoft Print to PDF";
            pdf.PrintSettings.PrintToFile(@"C:\Total\DocumentNEW.pdf");

            pdf.Print();
