error "nested quantifier" in FindText()

Hello,

I use FreeSpire.PDF which is part of FreeSpire.Office 4.3.1
I want to find all underscores ("_") in a PDF

But I get error "nested quantifier" in FindText().

Code: Select all

PdfDocument pdf = new PdfDocument(@"c:\temp\test.pdf");
pdf.AllowCreateForm = true;
PdfTextFind[] result = null;

   foreach (PdfPageBase page in pdf.Pages)
   {
      result = page.FindText("_+").Finds;   // <--- error

Same code works if I don't use FreeSpire.Office but FreeSpire.PDF
It seems that there are differences between FreeSpire.Office and FreeSpire.PDF
Is it possible to make this work in FreeSpire.Office ?

Yes, Our latest FreeSpire.PDF 5.4.0 (Spire.PDF.dll 5.4.15) and FreeSpire.Office 4.3.1 (Spire.PDF.dll 5.2.17) include different dlls that causes the differences. The next FreeSpire.Office version will include the latest dlls of FreeSpire.PDF. But sorry that we only upgrade our free version irregularly. As for your situation, I suggest that you download our latest commercial version Spire.Office 4.6.3 to have a test, since the latest commercial version contains all new features and fixes. Thus, it is stronger and more stable than the FreeSpire.Office vresion. If there is any question, just feel free to write back.
