Error adding library to project in android studio.

I added "Spire.Pdf.Android-FE-2.12.0/lib/Spire.Pdf.Android.jar" in android studio project. The path "Myapplication6/app/libs".

I checked Right Click, "Add as a library", "implementation files('libs\\spire.Pdf.Android.jar')" in "build.gradle(Module:My_Application.app)" and "gradlew clean".

but i always encounter the Error

com.android.tools.r8.errors.b: Field name '??' cannot be represented in dex format.

how do i proceed the project?

Which versions of SDK Build Tools are you using? We are very sorry that our Spire.PDF for Android does not currently support very high versions of SDK Build Tools. We recommend you use this configuration: SDK Build Tools 27, Gradle 4.4 and Gradle plugins 3.1. Please give it a try.
