embedding hindi fonts

Hello,

I am using Free Spire.PDF. I am able to embed "Hindi" fonts named "Mangal". But, half letters are not shown as joined letters. i.e. लीस्ट is shown as "ली स् ट" i.e. स् and ट doesn't get joined.

After testing with the latest Spire.PDF Pack(Hot Fix) Version:5.11.2, I didn't find the issue you mentioned. Here is my testing code and attached is my result file.

But I use FreeSpire.PDF. So will this hotfix work for me? also, my .net target framework is 4.5. So, in bin folder spire.pdf it is not available for the same.

Hi,

I just tested your case with Free Spire.PDF for .NET Version:5.10, and also could generate correct PDF. Please try the code I provided. If you still have the issue, provide your input file(if any) and the code you were using as well as output PDF you got.
Yes, we don't have .NET4.5 dlls of Spire.PDF, but you could use the low version(e.g. NET4.0 dlls) in your project.

I converted my project to .net 4.6 and used hotfix provided by you. Here is the code.

Yes... still have an issue. The image you have attached is not the way I need. I need it as "लीस्ट". But it takes half letter as "स्", as attached by you in image.

I understand. But, still hope that it will be resolved. Just wanted to tell that If I type same word in MS word and then export it to pdf, it gives me proper result in pdf.

Thanks for looking into the issue. I am still in hope that your team solve this. In MS word if we type such word and export to pdf, it gives proper result. So, if you can find any clue from that please incorporate the same in Sprire.PDF.
