Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry and sorry for the late reply as weekend.
According to your description, I guess you might be using an old version of our Spire.PDF. Kindly note we made adjustments for the print method, the PrintSettings is available in new versions, please download the latest Spire.PDF Pack(Hot Fix) Version:6.11.0 and use the following code to try again. If there is still any question, please provide me with your project type, such as console app (.NET Framework 4.6.1).

Code: Select all
using Spire.Pdf;
namespace ConsoleApp1
{
    class Program
    {
        static void Main(string[] args)

        {
            string rutaarch = "sample.pdf";
            PdfDocument pdfdoc = new PdfDocument();
            pdfdoc.LoadFromFile(rutaarch);
            pdfdoc.PrintSettings.PrinterName = "Microsoft XPS Document Writer";
            pdfdoc.Print();
        }
    }
}

Hello,

i have exactly the same problem.
I'm using Nuget-Package Spire-PDF in Version 7.2.9. within a .net core 3.1 project.

Code: Select all
PdfDocument pdf = new PdfDocument();
pdf.PrintSettings.PrinterName = Printer;

The Compiler is telling me there is no "PrintSettings" or "Print" in this scope :( .

So, how can i print?

Beste regards

René

Hello René,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Kindly note that for .NET Core Apps, if you install our Spire.PDF from NuGet, it will use the .NETStandard dlls by default. Sorry that our .NETStandard dlls do not support printing at present.

To use the printing function, please install the package (Spire.PDF.NETCore 7.2.9) via NuGet to use our .NETCore dlls. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions.

Sincerely,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,

thank you for your support.

After using the right package, i get the next issue.
While the licence-file seems to be valid, the output of the print says:
Code: Select all
Evaluation Warning : The version can be used only for evaluation purpose...

So, how can i test the print quality?

Sincerely,
René

Hello René,

Thanks for your feedback.
You mean that the evaluation warning message still appears after applying the license? We checked our records and found that you have requested a temporary license of Spire.PDF for WPF.

Please note that your license file is only valid for our WPF dlls, not for our .NETCore dlls. We just sent you a new temporary license file, which is also valid for the .NETCore dlls. Please use it instead.

Sincerely,
Rachel
