Document Object locks up code execution

Recently we have come across a situation (reproducible in multiple environments/machines) where a given file will lock up execution

I'm able to execute the following code:

[SpireDocObject].LoadFromStream

Whenever I try to access that [SpireDocObject] in code (whether to get a number of pages, save as pdf, or anything else) the call just hangs up my machine and locks a resource. We had a situation where a user requested to convert 14 files. 8 of them were successful but 6 did this and it is locking up resources on the machine. Has anyone encountered such a situation before?
