We are wondering what the expected performance should be on a Quad Core 2.6Ghz server with say 16GB of memory to convert a large (say 200 pages) .docx file to pdf? Is it linear in terms of page count, or does it vary widely in terms of page complexity (pictures, tables etc). I can privately send an example .docx file if that would help answer my question.

We are seeing it take 10-15 minutes to perform this conversion. Word seems to accomplish the same thing in much shorter time period.

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
The performance of Word to PDF is related to the structure complexity and data volume of the Word document. To help us further analyze, please provide us with a sample Word document. You can send it to us ([email protected]) via email. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Rachel
