Hi all.

We are experiencing an issue where using an OpenType font (e.g., Google Fonts) in our report, or any font not embedded in the PDF, results in incorrect conversion. Rather than obtaining the Word page, we receive an image of the page. Nothing is editable; it is simply an image of the entire page. If we switch back to TrueType fonts, the report converts correctly.

It would be beneficial to specify some fallback fonts in case the original ones are unavailable. This addresses the issue of converting PDF pages into images in Word, as this type of converted document is unusable.

Best regards,
Ognjen

Dear Ognjen,

Sorry our Spire.PDF currently does not provide the function of setting fallback fonts. I will communicate with the dev team about the possibility of implementing it in the future. Please also provide your PDF example so that we can conduct a better investigation. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Nina
