Thank you for answer

The version I am currently using is spire.pdf.free.5.1.0.
In a Windows environment, the PDF is created normally without an error, but in a Linux (rocky) environment, com.spire.pdf.packages.sprBnc: Value cannot be null; An error occurs.

If you know of a case where this error occurs, please let me know.
thank you

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.
I have conducted preliminary tests using the free version (Free Spire.PDF for .NET Version: 8.6) and Spire.PDF Pack Version: 10.1 in a Linux environment but was unable to reproduce the issue you mentioned.
Please note that we do not provide support for the free version, and without specific error messages, it becomes challenging for us to investigate the root cause of the problem.
To assist you further, I recommend trying out the latest commercial version, Spire.PDF Pack Version: 10.1, for testing purposes. The commercial version includes more bug fixes and new features compared to the free version.
If the issue persists after testing with the latest version, we would appreciate it if you could provide the following information to assist us in investigating the problem more effectively. You could attach them here or send them to us via email ([email protected]). Thanks in advance.
1) Your input HTML file (if available).
2) Your complete test code.
3) Your application type, such as Console app (. Net 6.0).

Sincerely,
Annika

- linux ( rocky)
- xorg-xll-server-Xvfb-1.20.11.17.e18.x86_64
- The permissions of the plugin folder and sub-files are all 777.
-spire version : spire.pdf.free.5.1.0.

HtmlConverter.convert(url, fileName, true, 1000000, new Size(1200f, 1000f), new PdfMargins(0));
- The htmlconverter does not seem to be working (pdf file is not created)

I cannot change the html file to a pdf file in HtmlConverter. Even if you change the permissions of all plugin folders and files to 777, htmlconverter does not work. No error occurs, but no new PDF file is created.
The phenomenon occurred after changing from Linux (centos) to Linux (rocky) and reinstalling xvfb. Can the version of xvfb affect htmlconverter?

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.
We have carefully reviewed your reported issue and made some additional investigations. Initially, during our testing, we did not have access to a real Rocky environment, so we conducted the tests on a CentOS system. Unfortunately, we were unable to reproduce the problem you encountered in that testing environment.
However, after installing the Rocky system and conducting further tests, we confirmed that no result files are being generated as you described. I have logged the issue into our bug tracking system with the ticket number SPIREPDF-6495. Our development team will investigate and fix it. Once it is resolved, I will inform you in time. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
To address this issue and provide you with an effective solution, we recommend utilizing Docker deployment on the Rocky system for testing purposes. This approach will help ensure compatibility and accurate results.
To assist you in implementing this alternative solution, please download the sample project. Additionally, refer to the attached document containing commands and instructions for testing purposes.

Sincerely,
Annika
