Is there a way to create a custom/dynamic stamp (similar to the same available in Acrobat) with Spire.PDF? I need to place a dynamic stamp on a collection of PDFs and allow the user to reposition and resize the stamp during a Q/C phase in Acrobat, to make sure that the stamp that is placed by my program does not cover any existing text.
I am currently placing a rectangle on the documents with Canvas.DrawImage and several other parameters which provides the look and content that I need, but repositioning/resizing the resulting image in Acrobat is cumbersome for my users.

Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry.
So sorry that our product doesn't support this feature at this stage. We will consider adding it in our future upgrade.

That would be fantastic. I would be more than willing to beta test that feature when you begin development.
Thank you.

Checking in on this, as it would resolve an issue that is currently holding up progress on one of my projects.
Thanks.

Hi,
Our Spire.PDF has supported the feature, please refer to the below sample code. In this sample, I used a image source for simpleness and easiness, but you also can use template.Graphics.DrawLine() method or others to custom your stamp.
- Code: Select all
PdfDocument document = new PdfDocument();
PdfPageBase page = document.Pages.Add();
PdfRubberStampAnnotation loStamp = new PdfRubberStampAnnotation(new RectangleF(new PointF(100, 100), new SizeF(100, 50)));
PdfAppearance loApprearance = new PdfAppearance(loStamp);
PdfImage image = PdfImage.FromFile("..\\..\\stamp.png");
PdfTemplate template = new PdfTemplate(180,60);
template.Graphics.DrawImage(image, 0, 0);
loApprearance.Normal = template;
loStamp.Appearance = loApprearance;
page.AnnotationsWidget.Add(loStamp);
string outputFile_P = @"..\..\5705.pdf";
document.SaveToFile(outputFile_P);
