I have installed Spire.Doc via pip with the version spire-doc 13.3.8. However, my antivirus software detected and quarantined the file Spire.Doc.Base.dll, reporting it as infected with HEUR/APC.

Could you please help me understand this issue and confirm whether the file is safe?

Hello,

Thanks for your iqnuiry.
What tool did you use to detect viruses? There is no security issue with our Spire.Doc. Since we have obfuscated the code internally, this may lead to misjudgment by security tools. If you want to use Spire.Doc further, we recommend that you add Spire.Doc.Base.dll to the list.

Sincerely,
William

We used Datto Antivirus (AV) to perform the virus scan, and it flagged an alert during the process. We understand that obfuscated code can sometimes lead to false positives. For your reference, please find the attached screenshot showing the detection result.
Please let us know if there is any further clarification needed or if you have additional guidance on safely using Spire.Doc.
