I am having this same issue. All images are same quality same barcode type. some work, some do not. Was this issue ever fixed in a newer release? I am using v 2.3.0 currently.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.
Please firstly make sure your barcode images are correct or not, since we scanned them with third party tool and found that only “file16.bmp” and “file21.bmp” can be scanned successfully. But I scanned these two images with Spire.BarCode Version: 2.3.0 and the latest Spire.BarCode(Hot Fix) Version:3.4.0, both of them didn’t work. It couldn’t scan out the data. Anyway, this issue will be posted to our Dev team for further investigating and fixing. If there is any update, we will inform you. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Sincerely,
Nancy
