Hi

I can't explain how happy I was to stumble over this product. I have been looking for In-Code Word to PDF conversion for quite a while. Right now we are dependent on both an installed office and a PDF printer, which is quite unstable at times. :P

And just as disappointed was I when I found out that your PDF conversion is not totally correct

It messes up the DOC in several ways.

Try out the doc I have attached, and see the PDF result

Is there any explaination for this behavior, or is the product only suited for very simple docs ?

Thanks in advance

And a second example which is completely messed up.

A simple docx with two textboxes outside the right margin.

If I try to save them as old .doc format the conversion is better, but still not correct

Hi Thanks for the update.

But I'm sorry to say that there are still a lot of issues.

The first example is allmost correct when saved as doc, but when saved as docx it is completely off.

And I'm affraid that I will be able to find thousands of other issues if I dig into it :P

Have here two examples.

1) In the .doc file one of the images in the header disappears, in the .docx both images disappears.

2) In both files the Largest TextBox is misplaced.

3) In the .docx file the line is converted into a box.

4) In both cases the TextBoxes are outside the right margin, these are in the converted PDF moved inside the margin.

5) The originals are 1 page, the PDF are 2 pages. Perhaps because of the added Trial Notice...

Something to work with :P

Word documents are complex stuff, not just a collection of caracters :P

I'm not quite sure why the Textboxes in the examples are moved inside the right margin.

Have tried to make another fresh doc with a similar text box. Here it works just fine...
