Hi Balaji,

Thanks for your inquiry.
To help us reproduce the issue and ensure that we don't miss anything, could you please describe the operations on your side in detail? Meanwhile, please share the error information as well. If possible, your sample vb project will be of great help to us.

Sincerely,

Hello Balaji,

Thanks for your details.
Unfortunately, I did not reproduce your issue. Below is what I had done on my side.
I created a VB.Net windows project in VS 2005 with .Net Framework 2.0, added the references of spire.xls, and then change the solution configuration from debug to release without changing the platform. I have tried both the commercail version and free version, all worked well.
I still need the confirmation of the following items.
1. Have you erver changed the platform, does the "AnyCUP" work?
2. There's no issue in the debug mode with the same other configures, right?
Meanwhile, if you could provide a sample vb project, that couldn't be better.

Sincerely,
Jane

Hello Babu,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Since you are using a very old version of our Spire.PDF, I’d like to suggest you download the latest Spire.PDF Pack(Hot Fix) Version:7.2.0 and try again.
If the issue still occurs after trying, to help us investigate your issue further, please provide your runnable project that can reproduce your issue. You could send it to us (support@e-iceblue.com) via email. Thanks in advance.

Hello Babu,

Thanks for providing more information.
I opened your project directly in VS2005, added the dlls of our Spire.PDF from the folder NET2.0 and then ran it, but did not reproduce your issue. This is my modified project for your reference.
I still need the confirmation of the following items.
1. Do you have any special settings for your project?
2. Have you tried a higher version of Visual Studio? Does the same problem exist?

Besides, I searched on some technical forums and found the following solution, hope this can help you.
