LoadFromFile fails when excel has the file open

I need to open the spreadsheet as read only, even when someone else has the file open. Is there any way to do this (I only need read access and excel itself will allow that under these circumstances).

Sorry that it is impossible to load the file when Excel has opened the file, as the file is locked by Excel.
