We are trying to set up an endpoint to convert HTML to PDF using the plugin covered in 'Convert HTML to PDF with New Plugin.'

We are running the endpoint on .NET Core 2.2 and using Spire.PDF version 5.8.7. It runs locally, but when we put it on our test server, we get the following error:
"error": "The conversion provider cann't be found.\\r\\nPlease make sure:the folder \"plugins\" under the same folder of Spire.Pdf.dll"

The test server is running Windows Server 2019. Are there any additional dependencies or settings we need in order to get this working on the server?

Hi,

Thanks for your inquiry.
Firstly, please make sure you have put the correct plugin in the correct place on Windows Server 2019.
If you still have the issue, please provide following information for further investigation:
1. Do you deploy your project on IIS?
2. Is the Server 2019 64bit? Do you use windows-x64.zip?

Best wishes,
Amber

Yes, we are deploying our project on IIS and using both Windows Server 64-bit and the windows-x64.zip plugin.

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.
I finished the test on Windows Server, I could deploy the project on IIS successfully. But I found if I remove the plugin from the folder which I have published my project in, there will be the same exception as yours.
Please make sure that you have put the correct plugin in the correct folder(the one you have published your project in) before you deploy the project on IIS again.

Best wishes,
Amber
