Using the latest version of spire.doc to convert DOC to TIFF files an issue has been discovered on docs with a tab seperated table. Can you please advise how to avoid this misalignment?

Conversion is based on code within the ice blue "Convert Word to TIff" sample on the website.

Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry.
I simulated a Word file according to your screenshot and then converted it to tiff, but I did not reproduce your issue. To help us reproduce your issue and solve it, please provide your input file, your project target framework (e.g. .NET Framework 4.5) and your OS information (e.g. Windows7, 64bit). Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Brian

Hello,

Thanks for providing your input file.
I opened your .doc file with the Microsoft Word 2003, but found the position of the text is different from your screenshot shows (as shown below). Which version of Microsoft Word you are using to view this Word file?

Besides, I tested your case and did observe that the position of the text in the result tiff is different from the input file. I have posted this issue to our Dev team for further investigation. If there is any good news, we will let you know.

Hello,

Thanks for your response
I opened your input file with Microsoft Word2013 and Microsoft Word 365, but I got the same result as I used Microsoft Word2003. And the .doc file is based on Microsoft Word2003, so the result of our fix will also be consistent with the result of Microsoft Word2003. Hope you can understand.

Brian

Hello David,

Thanks for your patience.
Our Dev team have found out the cause of your issue. But we are missing a font used in your word file, there are garbled characters in the result. To ensure that your issue is completely resolved, please provide us with the Code39Wide-BT font to help us further investigate. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi,

Is this fix compatible with a Spire.Doc pro license? I am having issues getting this fix to remove evaluation mode using my license. I have recently received a new license as part of out renewal and it is still having issues.

Thanks,
David
