Hello good afternoon!
I am in the process of converting one of a PDF file to PDF/A.
The original PDF file has some custom metadata.
When converting them to PDF/A, this metadata is lost.
What would be the correct code to use to convert to PDF/A without losing the custom metadata from the original PDF?
Thanks in advance for your attention.

Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry.
I did notice the issue you mentioned. I have posted it to our Dev team for further investigation with the ticket SPIREPDF-3210. They will further confirm whether custom properties can be retained after conversion to PDF/A. If there is any update, we will let you know.
Sincerely,
Rachel

Hello,
Hope you are doing well.
After further investigation by our developers, we found that the PDF/A Standard does not allow setting custom properties. Our Spire.PDF follows PDF Standard. Hope you can understand.
Sincerely,
Rachel
