ASP.Net PDFViewer License Issue

Postby JezPearson » Wed Jul 06, 2016 7:43 am

Hi,

I am using the pdf viewer for asp.net ok.

We purchased a license for the ASP.Net PDFViewer on the 7th June 2016, but I can't get rid of the evaluation message.

I have put a copy of the license in the bin folder of the web site.

I am referencing the license in the Global.asax.vb using:
Sub Application_Start(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs)
Spire.License.LicenseProvider.SetLicenseKey("license.elic.xml")
End Sub

I have also tried:
Spire.License.LicenseProvider.SetLicenseFileName("license.elic.xml")
Spire.License.LicenseProvider.LoadLicense()

I have restart the app pool and web site etc.

The version I am currently using is: 2.8.0.6340, when I look at the license it says the version is 2.6.

Do I have the right license for the version I am using, or have I missed something?

Thanks,
Jez.

Dear Jez,

Thanks for your inquiry.
We suggest you apply the license by license key in Web application. I see you tried this method, but the key you used in codes is incorrect. Please change the key string, you can open the license file, the string in double quotes is correct(in license file, License Key="......").

Sincerely,
Betsy

Hi,

I have tried that suggestion and it's still not working.

I have put logging into the Application_Start, so I know it is definitely running when the application starts, but the viewer still has the evaluation message at the top.

Dear Jez,

Thanks for your reply.
Did you change the string key in your code(Spire.License.LicenseProvider.SetLicenseKey("license.elic.xml")) ? You can open the license file, the string in double quotes is correct(in license file, License Key="......").
Also, sorry that we didn't find purchase information with your email address, please provide us your order information here or provide us your license file you were using via email to help us do a testing.

Sincerely,
Betsy

Hi,

Yes, I did try the long license key from the license file and that didn't work.

I have emailed the license key file to your support email address.

Regards,
Jez.
