Hello,

I'm continuing to evaluate Spire.
I'm having a problem where the printed output is scaled up about 10%
Both with an actual printer and a PDF printer.

I'm using

Windows 7 pro
Word 2007
VB.NET 2008
Spire 5.2.12.54035

Thanks in advance
Peter Knowles

Hello,

It seems to be that the CutePDF and Spire don't get along.
Everything scales properly using the Adobe PDF printer.

Thank you.

I spoke too soon.

I've done exhaustive testing.
Spire creates and saves .docx correctly.
But prints scaled up about 20%
This is on 4 different printers on 4 different machines.
Either printing to real printers or PDF virtual printers, CutePDF and AdobePDF.

Using Spire 5.3.83.3035

Attached is my code, The source .docx, A correctly saved .docx and a PDF showing the problem.

Hello,

Sorry that I have not reproduced your issue, the document is printed normally. I have attached the result document printed with Adobe PDF printer, please check it.
In addition, did you modify the printing setting, or other thing?

Sincerely,
Betsy

I'm afraid this issue is still present.
I have tried several different copies of Word, several different machines, and several different printers.
It seems some combinations produce the error.
Including at my clients.

This issue, if not resolved, will make Spire unsuitable.
Sadly we have a lot of time invested in evaluation.

Hello,

Thanks for your response.
Please provide the information of combinations which produce the error, such as:
----test.docx + AdobePDF
----Win7 32bit

Thanks,
Betsy

Thanks again,

The error only presents with printing, saving .docx is correct.

All tests are with the test.docx I sent previously.
I also created a separate test.docx in Word 2013 on Win 8.1 and all the same errors presented.

It seems to be tied to operating systems.

I really hope you resolve this as I'm ready to buy and have a huge investment in Spire.

Thank you for your continued support.

The error is still present as noted.

Please find attached a PDF that does not have the error.
Produced by The Adobe PDF printer in Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

Thank you in advance
