Conversion compression

Hi, I convert word documents to PDF/A and the size of the PDF is 4x (average) the size of the doc.

Is there a way to set a compression ?

Thanks for your inquiry.
Sorry that there is no way to set a compression. And there are much elements in the word document will cause the size large when conversion to PDF. Would you please provide us your document for testing?
