Hi,

I'm trying to use LoadFromRTF to print justified text, but it doesn't work. The text is always left-aligned instead of being justified. Do you know what's going on and if there is a fix available?

Also, I tried to include an rtf example to show you guys, but the form doesn't let me add "rtf" files (or txt file).

Thank you

Hello gumby,

Thanks for your inquiry.

Please zip the sample rtf file, then upload it to the forum.

Here is the file. The text in bold is justified in wordpad, but it is left-aligned when using LoadFromRTF.

Hello gumby,

Thanks for sharing the sample document.

I test the sample document with Spire.Doc v5.3.38, and the bold text is justified correctly, please download it and have a try:

Hi,

The problem is with Spire.PDF, not Spire.DOC. I have the latest Spire.PDF version (3.2.85.5040), but it is not working correctly.

Thank you

Hi,

Can you give me a rough approximation of when this is going to be fixed? (days, weeks, months, never?).

Thank you

Hi,

I have been waiting more than a month for an answer concerning this problem. Can you at least give me a rough approximation of when this is going to be done?

Thank you

Hello gumby,

I just got news form our dev team that Spire.PDF doesn't support the justifed text, and it will make a significant impact on our program structure if we switch to meet your requirement, so they're not going to fix this problem.

I am very sorry for the delay and if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us, thank you.
Best Regards,

Hi,

The RTF implementation that Spire provides was the only reason we bought the licence. Isn't there a hack or something else that you could provide to us, even if it is not perfect? The lack of text justification is a big deal breaker for our clients.

Thank you
